Fishing activities completely banned in Kerala coast from today midnight

Fishing activities are completely banned in Kerala coast from midnight today as the Met Department predicts heavy rain and strong winds in the State from 1 Dec, on account of low pressure formed in Bay of Bengal .
As the sea is expected to be rough with high waves, fishermen who are out in the sea, are directed to reach the nearest coast at the earliest.
Kerala State Disaster Management Authority is taking stock of situation in a high level meeting headed by Chief Secretary.
