- Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new era of development and peace has prevailed in Bodoland Territorial Region.
- Addressing the opening ceremony of the 1st BTR ( Bodoland Territorial Region) Accord Day celebration at Kokrajhar in Assam,the Home minister said that once the region was known for terror and bloodshed, this area will now become the most developed area of the state.
