India declares Saeed, Azhar, Dawood, Lakhvi terrorists under new anti-terror law
- India declared Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief MasoodAzhar, LeT's supreme commander of operations in Kashmir Zaki-ur- RehmanLakhvi and fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, all based in Pakistan, as terrorists under the amended Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
- The decisions have been taken a month after Parliam- ent approved a crucial amendment to the UAPA law.
