Maharashtra: 800 birds die at poultry farm in Parbhani district
- In Maharashtra, 800 birds at a poultry farm in Murumba village of Parbhani district died of Avian Influenza.
- The District Collector has ordered culling of all hens within one km radius of the village.
- Any kind of sale, purchase and transportation of birds within 10 km radius of the village has also been banned.
- District authorities are also keeping a close watch on poultry farms in the entire district.
