UP: 665 villages in 15 districts affected by floods
- In Uttar Pradesh, rains for the last several days and water coming from the upper hilly tract region and Nepal have caused floods in various areas in the state.
- According to the State Relief department 665 villages of 15 districts are affected by flood out of which 391 villages are inundated.
- The districts that are most affected are Ambedkar Nagar ,Ayodhya ,Azamgarh,
- Bahraich ,Baliya ,Barabanki,Basti ,Devriya ,Gonda ,Gorakhpur ,Lakhimpur khiri ,Kushinagar ,Mau and Sitapur.
