Drinking water supply schemes to benefit 140 villages in Uttarakhand
- Drinking water supply schemes of over 164 crore rupees have been approved under Jal Jeevan Mission in Uttarakhand.
- It will provide tap water connection to more than 9,200 rural homes.
- Jal Shakti Ministry said, these schemes will benefit 140 villages in Almora, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Nainital and Uttarkashi districts.
- In the current financial year, the State has planned to provide tap water connections to 2.64 lakh households.
