Foreign investors pump in nearly Rs 2,000 cr into Indian capital markets so far in October


  • According to the depositories data, foreign portfolio investors, or FPIs, invested 1,530 crore rupees into the equities and 567 crore rupees in the debt segment. 
  • This resulted in a net inflow of 1,997 crore rupees into the India capital markets in October.
  • FPIs have been net buyers for two consecutive months and have invested 26,517 crore rupees in September and 16,459 crore rupees in August.
