Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana
- The govt has said that Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana accounts has surged to 43.85 crore with deposit balance of over 1.48 lakh crore rupees.
- Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Kisanrao Karad informed this in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.
- He said, as of 25th March last year, the total number of Jan Dhan accounts were around 38 crore.
